Shipping and Delivery

It is required that the customer inspects the product thoroughly before accepting it and immediately
informs the delivery person. If the product is accepted eKade.lk will consider that the product was in
good condition and no return/refund-related requests will be entertained by eKade.lk or the
merchant/supplier.

The delivery time within Colombo is typically three business days. However, this duration can vary
depending on the exact distance as well as the nature of the product. Please note that eKade.lk will
not be responsible for any delivery delays caused by such factors as well as delays by the delivery
partner.

In the event of unforeseen adverse circumstances, eKade.lk will contact you via email and/or phone
call to provide updates on the situation. eKade.lk is not responsible for any goods that are damaged
in transit, if the Proof of Delivery (POD) had been signed and the goods have been accepted.
eKade.lk will not be responsible for the condition of any products that are not collected within 2
weeks and if not collected within one month, eKade.lk reserves the right to dispose of the product/s.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

The option of cash on Delivery is only available within Colombo 1-15 and greater Colombo.
Customers can pay for their orders via cash payment for orders up to Rs.10,000 only. The ekade.lk
team will contact you to confirm your order. Kindly note that you cannot cancel any order or refuse to
pay when the product/s is delivered to you after your confirmation. Please note that COD orders will
not be delivered during weekends. Since the majority of our products are unique, specific, and
crafted by rural Sri Lankan rural entrepreneurs, the eKade.lk team will contact you if any extra time is
needed for the delivery process.

Undeliverable Packages

Packages are occasionally returned to us as undeliverable. When the courier service returns such a
package to us, the eKade.lk team will contact you via email or telephone.

Why Are Packages Occasionally Undeliverable?

Incorrect Address
One instance when a package is undeliverable is when the address is incorrect. Please check and
re-check your shipping address when placing your order. In the case of an incorrect address, a
re-delivery fee will apply to deliver the product to the correct address. The eKade.lk team will try our
best to contact you and check your order before it is processed, once the payment has been
completed online.

In case the package is refused by the recipient

If you are sending a surprise gift to someone, we recommend that you inform the recipient about an
upcoming surprise, as well as, the eKade.lk team that the order was not placed by the recipient. This
is necessary for security and fraud reasons. If the recipient refuses to accept the package the first
time but wishes to do so, later, a redelivery fee will apply.
