Terms of Service. Access to this website is granted on an undetermined basis, and eKade.lk
possesses the right to withdraw or revise its services without prior notice. eKade.lk will not be liable
if, for any reason, this website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Similarly, we may
occasionally restrict access to some parts of or the entire website.

eKade.lk website (the “Linked Sites”). eKade.lk has no control over these linked sites and accepts no

eKade.lk or its suppliers and are protected by copyright as well as other laws that protect intellectual

by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends, or other restrictions contained in any such
content and will not make any changes thereto. The publishing, manipulation, distribution or
otherwise reproduction, in any format, of any of the content or copies of the content that is supplied

Terms of Sale

Following are the Terms of Sale that are applicable to all parties involved in a transaction on the
eKade.lk website.

By placing an order, you are offering to make a transaction subject to the following terms and
conditions. All orders are subject to availability and order price confirmation. The dispatch times may
vary according to product availability and may encounter delays resulting from postal setbacks or
force majeure for which eKade.lk will not be responsible.

Forming a contract with eKade.lk requires that you be over 18 years of age and possess a valid
credit or debit card issued by an accepted bank. eKade.lk retains the right to refuse any request
made by you. If your order is accepted, the identity of the party with which you have contracted will
be confirmed via email.

Agreement between buyer and seller:

1. Once an order is placed you will receive an email confirming the details of said order.
2. This email mentions the payment status of the order and whether you will be paid using
Credit or Debit cards.
3. If an order is confirmed by a buyer, it will not be possible for them to refuse the order or make
any undue changes later on
4. For bulk purchases, a 50% advance should be placed depending on the order if the buyer is
ordering with us for the first time.
5. Once products are readied for delivery eKade.lk will be sending products to the destination
points through courier service agents.

When it comes to fabric materials and other products, colour alterations may occur when viewing on
screen. Most of the products on the eKade.lk platform are handicrafts produced manually and hence
may contain minor deviations from actual sizes, weight, and colors.
E-commerce website

When placing an order, you accept that all details provided to us are true and accurate, that you are
an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place the order, and that sufficient funds are
available to cover the cost of the ordered goods. All prices advertised are subject to changes due to
valid reasons.

(a) The eKade.lk contract

When an order is placed, you will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of the order. This email will
only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract will not be
formed until eKade.lk sends you a confirmation by e-mail that the ordered goods have been
dispatched. Only the goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be
included in the contract.

(b) Pricing and Availability

While eKade.lk try to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices which appear on this website
are accurate, errors may occur. When such changes occur eKade.lk will notify you and offer the
option of reconfirming your order to the new price or to cancelling it.
Please be noted that unique and highly specific orders will take up to 4 weeks to make.
“Pay and Collect” and “Cash on Delivery” options are not available for certain such unique orders.

(c) Payment

Once your order has been received, eKade.lk will convey a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorization being received. The funds received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wished to purchase. Once the goods are dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email that the funds deducted as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.

Disclaimer of Liability

The items displayed on the eKade.lk website will be transmitted without any guarantees, conditions,
or warranties as to its accuracy. Unless expressly stated to be dissimilar to the fullest extent as
permitted by law, eKade.lk and its suppliers, content providers, and advertisers hereby expressly
exclude all conditions, warranties, and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute,
common law, or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but
without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, corrective, or incidental damages, or
damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, damages to goodwill, or the cost of
procurement of substitute goods and services, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use,
performance, or failures of this website or the linked sites, and any materials posted thereon,
irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution,
by statute, at common law, or otherwise. This does not affect eKade.lk’s liability for the death or
personal injury caused by its carelessness, misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be
excluded or limited under applicable law.

Herbal Product Category

eKade.lk published products that are manufactured under the “Wickramarachchi” brand name in the
“Herbal Products” product category.
eKade.lk is only engaged in the marketing and order processing of the so-called herbal products for
customers. Therefore, any feedback/response/query related to the product features and content
shall be the manufacturer’s liability.

Linking to this Website

You may link to the eKade.lk’s Home page, provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal and
does not damage the company’s reputation or take advantage of it. This website must not be framed
on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of this website other than the home page.
Links must not be established in such a way as to suggest any form of official association, approval,
or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link from any website that is
not owned by you. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

accordingly. Alternatively, you agree that the clause shall be rectified and interpreted in such a way
that closely resembles the original meaning of the clause /sub-clause as is permitted by law.

Complaints

eKade.lk is committed to resolving disputes when they first arise, through our complaints handling
procedure.

Please make sure to have a rigid network connection when online payments are being made, to
avoid breaking the order processing.

Entire Agreement

The above Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement of the parties and succeed any and all
preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and eKade.lk. The abandonment of any
provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if expressed in writing and signed by a director
of eKade.lk.
